Features: This book is not a systematic and comprehensive treatise on criminal law theory, but rather a collection of research papers on several specialized topics in criminal law theory. It is primarily based on the topics covered in criminal law theory courses that I have taught to graduate students in criminal law for many years, supplemented by additional topics. In terms of content, it focuses on criminal general theory, broadly divided into five parts: Criminal Law Reform, Criminal Principles, Criminal Constitution, Criminal Forms, and Criminal General Theory, comprising sixteen chapters. The discussions of each specialized topic (or chapter) in this book emphasize controversial and difficult issues, striving for depth and progress in the areas of research, contributing to the prosperity and development of basic criminal law theory research and promoting the practice of criminal law and justice. This book can be considered a sister work to the two previously published collections on criminal law theory by the author. They basically reflect my thoughts and insights on various issues in criminal law theory.
