Features: Time flies. Since 1975, when I began teaching the law of obligations at the Department of Law and the Graduate Institute of Law at National Taiwan University, it has been a quarter of a century. Throughout this period, teaching and learning have grown together, and while I have gained some insights into the theory and practice of the law of obligations, they have always felt somewhat unsteady. Over the years, I have written several articles on the law of obligations. These writings were inspired by various circumstances that prompted me to start writing. The style of these articles falls between a textbook and a monograph. Last April, I revised and republished the law of sales, with one of the key revisions focusing on its connection with the general provisions or theory of obligations, allowing for mutual reference. Compared to the published law of sales, I named this book "The Specifics of the Law of Obligations (Volume)". It covers various types of contracts, including usufruct or service contracts: (leasing), (lending), (commission), (employment), (contracting), and related special contracts, such as medical contracts related to (commission) and BOT contracts related to (contracting).
