Features: This casebook for teaching purposes clearly draws on the excellent experience of case teaching methods from the United States and the United Kingdom. It entirely adopts real comprehensive cases and is compiled in response to the new requirements of legal case teaching. Its uniqueness lies in: explaining the legal disputes involved in the cases from the perspectives of theories and doctrines both at home and abroad, while also including the current state of judicial development in various countries. This helps students understand the fundamental principles, basic concepts, and essential knowledge of law through cases. Additionally, the casebook includes a "Class Discussion" section and provides "Key Points" for the cases discussed in class, offering broad discussion space for legal case teaching. The mock court book in this series is particularly distinctive. It is a script-based textbook specifically designed for mock court teaching in legal education. By demonstrating the application of substantive law and procedural law in mock courts, it combines the fundamental principles of law with judicial practice, effectively cultivating students' skills and abilities to apply their acquired knowledge to solve practical legal problems. This book is one of the foundational textbooks for law majors in universities in the 21st century, compiled according to the civil law teaching of the Ministry of Education. In terms of its structure, the book places the chapter on personal rights at the beginning of each part of the general provisions to highlight their importance. Although intellectual property rights belong to civil rights, considering that the Ministry of Education has already designated intellectual property rights as one of the main courses, this book does not cover the content of intellectual property rights. Regarding its content, the book adheres to the following principles: based on the current laws and regulations of our country and the interpretations of the Supreme People's Court; adopting the general consensus of academia for scholarly interpretations, but making breakthroughs in line with theoretical research and the development of civil legislation; concise and accessible, emphasizing logic while avoiding unnecessary complexity. As a university undergraduate textbook, the task of this book is to help students master the basic theories, systems, and institutions of civil law, cultivate their legal thinking methods, further self-learning abilities, and the ability to apply law. The legal applications and post-class reviews after each chapter are attempts to achieve this goal. It is recommended that teachers focus on teaching the basic theories and institutions, as well as the relationships between different institutions, guiding students to grasp civil law as a whole and strive for comprehensive understanding.
