Features: The process of modernization is the most magnificent and glorious process in human society. One of the characteristics worth paying attention to and studying in this process is that it is advancing in the context of the development of capitalism and socialism. If the process of modernization marks the achievements of this period of human history, then capitalism and socialism are the fundamental paths of this period of human history. This book attempts to move beyond the exploration methods of a purely capitalist development history and does not primarily examine the direct results of socialist movements brought about by socialist revolutions and socialist construction. Instead, it overlays the evolution of capitalism and the development trajectory of socialist movements, examining the changes in capitalist politics, economy, and society within the context of the opposition and conflict between the two systems. It can be said that this is an alternative interpretation of the capitalist development process and a revelation of another dimension of the impact of socialist movements. It is hoped that this effort can provide some new and beneficial insights.
