A 38-year-old woman with abnormal menstruation, along with cervical hypertrophy and multiple issues.

Patient's question:

After giving birth, there was cervical erosion for more than a year. Laser and microwave treatments were ineffective. Later, cervical hypertrophy developed. Now, the child is 12 years old. Two or three years ago, cysts were discovered, and now there are more of them. The menstrual cycle has always been regular, but it has been abnormal since February 18th.

Doctor's answer:

The treatment of cervical erosion mainly involves physical therapy, such as laser therapy, cryotherapy, and infrared coagulation therapy. Medications can be used in conjunction with these treatments; severe cases may require surgical intervention. Post-surgery, sexual activity and tub baths are prohibited. Hygiene should be maintained, and ample rest is recommended. During the healing period of the wound (4–8 weeks), tub baths, sexual intercourse, and vaginal irrigation treatments are forbidden. Regular follow-up appointments are required after the surgery.
