Electrical Technology and Electronic Technology: Volume 2

Author: Wang Hongming (Editor)
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-12-01
Features: The editions of this book were published in 1990 and 1991, respectively, and it won the Third National Education Commission Outstanding Award for General Higher Education in 1995. Since its publication, the book has been in circulation for eight years. To meet the needs of modern electrical engineering, modifications were made to the edition, resulting in the publication of the second edition. This book (Second Edition) was compiled according to the basic teaching requirements for undergraduate engineering foundation courses "Electrical Technology (Electrical Engineering I)" and "Electronic Technology (Electrical Engineering II)" issued by the former Ministry of Education in 1995. It remains divided into two volumes. The first volume covers "Electrical Technology," including topics such as circuit analysis, AC iron-core coils and transformers, motors, relay-contact control, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The second volume covers "Electronic Technology," including analog electronics, digital electronics, and power electronics. This book embodies the author's extensive experience in teaching electrical engineering at Tsinghua University for many years, blending teaching with learning. It features detailed explanations and clear conceptual descriptions, making it convenient for self-study. In terms of content, it equally emphasizes both strong and weak electrical circuits. In addition to meeting the basic teaching requirements, it also appropriately includes some content to broaden knowledge. It is suitable for a wide range of disciplines and can meet the needs of modern electrical engineering schools. This book (Volume 2) can be used as a textbook or reference book for non-electrical major undergraduate and junior college students studying electronic technology in higher engineering colleges, or as a reference book for non-electrical engineering technicians to understand relevant electronic knowledge.
