Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics is an important component of China's medical heritage, with a long history and rich clinical experience. It plays a significant role in safeguarding public health and has made a tremendous impact both domestically and internationally. With the development of traditional Chinese medicine education, Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics has evolved from a single discipline into an independent major. The original nationwide unified textbook for higher medical colleges, Traditional Chinese Medicine Traumatology, could no longer meet the teaching needs of the orthopedics program.
This series of textbooks includes 14 volumes: History of Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics, Schools of Thought in Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics, Selected Ancient Medical Classics of Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics, Basic Principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics, Traditional Chinese Medicine Fracture Reduction and Fixation, Traditional Chinese Medicine Soft Tissue Injuries, Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone Diseases, Orthopedic Internal Injuries, Trauma and Emergency Care, Biomechanics of Orthopedics, X-ray Diagnosis in Orthopedics, Orthopedic Formulas, Surgical Techniques in Orthopedics, and Experimental Orthopedics. This is the first set of textbooks for the five-year orthopedics program since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
