Features: This book is a teaching reference for basic inorganic chemistry at colleges and universities. In terms of content, it is designed to be used alongside two other textbooks: "Fundamentals of Inorganic Chemistry" (authored by Cai Shaohua, Gong Menglian, and Shi Huahong, Zhongshan University Press, 1999 edition) and "Elementary Inorganic Chemistry" (authored by Cai Shaohua, Huang Kunyao, and Zhang Yurong, Zhongshan University Press, 1998 edition). The book is divided into two parts: Part I is the solutions to the exercises in "Fundamentals of Inorganic Chemistry," consisting of ten chapters; Part II is the solutions to the exercises in "Elementary Inorganic Chemistry," also consisting of ten chapters. The content of the book includes fundamental concepts in inorganic chemistry, preliminary chemical thermodynamics, solutions and ionic equilibrium, preliminary reaction kinetics, atomic structure and the periodic table, molecular structure, crystal structure, coordination compounds and coordination equilibrium, redox reactions and electrochemistry, as well as the inorganic chemistry of the elements in the periodic table. The exercises selected for this book were carefully chosen by the authors through years of teaching practice, totaling approximately 580 problems. They are systematic and appropriately challenging, with a certain degree of independence in their arrangement. The book is suitable for self-study by students majoring in chemistry or related fields at colleges and universities, or as a review reference for postgraduate entrance examinations. It can also be used as a teaching reference for instructors in relevant fields.
