Features: Currently, many people have poor eating habits such as "eating little for breakfast, poorly for lunch, and excessively for dinner." Excessive calorie intake at dinner is a contributing factor to coronary heart disease and arteriosclerosis. Due to the high concentration of calories, blood lipid levels rise. Additionally, blood flow decreases during sleep, making it easier for excess lipids to deposit on the blood vessel walls, leading to arteriosclerosis and potentially triggering coronary heart disease. Moreover, middle-aged individuals tend to gain weight, which is often related to overeating at dinner.
The peak time for human urination is approximately 4–5 hours after a meal. If dinner is eaten too late, and one goes to sleep during this period, urine that should be excreted may accumulate in the kidneys, bladder, and ureters. Over time, calcium salts in the urine can deposit in these areas, potentially forming stones. Therefore, it is advisable not to overeat at dinner and to avoid lying down immediately afterward. Moderating dinner intake is an important health measure.
Currently, Qigong is popular, but many beginners, lacking proper guidance, often practice by holding their breath. If held for too long, this can lead to insufficient oxygen supply to the body, obstructed blood circulation, and mild symptoms such as dizziness, blurred vision, and palpitations. Severe cases may result in brain thrombosis, stroke, hemiplegia, or even myocardial infarction, posing a life-threatening risk.
