During the summer vacation of third grade, I met a little girl wearing a red hat on Ghost Gate Mountain. She was barefoot, and one of her shoes was washed away by the water. While chasing after her shoe, I found several insect-like things moving inside the small red athletic shoe. Upon closer inspection, they weren’t insects but two or three tiny little people, waving their cute little hands at me.
Later, I and the little people of Little Country became familiar with each other, from strangers to friends, from suspicion to trust, and became close companions in adversity. Later, I moved to a place far away from Ghost Gate Mountain for school. For a long time, I didn’t go to Ghost Gate Mountain, and there was no news about Little Country.
After ten or twenty years passed, I returned to my hometown and met the little people of Little Country again. However, disaster struck from the sky. The local transportation bureau wanted to level the small mountain where Little Country was located to make way for a new road. So, how could I help the little people save their Little Country?
