Features: Over the years, several publishers have independently selected and published many of my individual short story collections, but each one fell short of my expectations. The mixed versions were not good for me, nor for the readers. Now, I have selected these works myself, presenting a relatively complete collection of short and medium-length fiction as a summary for myself and a convenient option for readers. After turning fifty, my ambitions remain, and I remain vigilant against stagnation and the tendency to write slickly due to scholarly isolation. Publishing this collection, I will no longer be self-absorbed, and loneliness will follow as I pick up my and set off anew.
