Features: Yunnan receives a large number of tourists from home and abroad every year. The Yunnan Provincial Government places great emphasis on the development of the cultural industry and has positioned tourism as a pillar industry for the province. Additionally, due to Yunnan's geographical advantage of being adjacent to Southeast Asia and South Asia, the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area is currently under construction. International conferences, trade, and cultural exchanges centered around ASEAN countries are increasing year by year, leading to growing personnel interactions. Yunnan has already become a major tourist province, with 25 ethnic minorities residing within its borders, each with unique customs and traditions. Moreover, Yunnan boasts breathtaking landscapes nurtured by its unique topography, including Shangri-La, which has been romantically described as a paradise on earth in "Lost Horizon," and the rice-cultivating civilization that has been deeply explored in Japan. However, compared to its rich tourism resources, the number of tourists Yunnan currently receives remains relatively small. Therefore, Yunnan's tourism resources still hold significant potential for development. This book was compiled with the purpose of training qualified Japanese tour guides, and we have also taken into account the aspirations of those who wish to take the tour guide qualification examination. It can also serve as extracurricular teaching material for Japanese language learners and a travel guide for Japanese tourists. The book includes many contents that Japanese tourists hope to learn about, which are not yet found in currently available travel guidebooks.
