Among them, Zhu Xiaohe is a renowned singer celebrated on both banks of the Honghe River. The other singers are all well-known local "Laba Aba" (singing grandfathers) or "Laba Api" (singing grandmothers). Their dedication to preserving and promoting national traditional culture inspires the translators to accurately record every word they sing, carefully selecting and refining their translations to ensure the Hani text and Chinese translation are as close as possible. The book largely maintains the original authenticity of the performances, with minimal additions or deletions in the Hani text.
