This book has received high praise in Korea and has been compared to Popeye’s spinach, giving people endless strength; sometimes, it’s likened to mint candy, refreshing the soul; at other times, it leaves one feeling empty, prompting a search for more; it can also make one feel weighed down, longing for relief; and sometimes, it brings laughter, followed by a deep sense of emotion.
Gwangsoo’s Ideas represents the highest achievement in contemporary Korean comic creation, with annual sales exceeding 1,500,000 copies and ranking at the top of Korea’s comic bestseller lists for three consecutive years.
