This revision mainly involves modifying, adding, or replacing some functional dialogues; replacing outdated texts and adding new text content; and adding exercise answers in the back of the book for the convenience of self-study. The entire book includes the phonetics, basic grammar, and over 2,000 common words of Spanish. The first volume has 28 lessons, and the second volume has 18 lessons. The first 8 lessons of the first volume focus on phonetics; lessons 9 to 18 gradually increase the grammar content; and lessons 19 to 28 focus on grammar and vocabulary. Each lesson in the first volume consists of 2 to 6 dialogues and short essays, while some lessons in the second volume have additional supplementary texts. The content of the entire book is mainly based on daily life and study.
