The stories in I Have Visited 88 Cities are all travel diaries from the author's overseas visits. Over 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas have broadened the author's horizons and deepened his understanding. The unique geographical conditions and customs of each country have opened the author's eyes, brought him immense joy. However, limited by time and energy, this is just the beginning of the author's global journey across the five continents. The author plans to complete two more books before turning 60: one is My Reading Life – 88 Books I Have Read, and the other is Harry and Its Children. The cities the author has visited are likely no fewer than 88, and the books he has read are far more than 88. Yet, he has made selections, choosing cities and books worth remembering and recommending. This is also a summary of the author's life as a writer. The author wants to share the joy of his reading and traveling with readers and friends. This is where the author seeks happiness. The other book, Harry and Its Children, is about the life of animals. Harry is a white fox terrier the author loves, and it is only two and a half years old this year. The author has not yet found a "mate" for it, but he will keep trying. Harry will definitely have children, and the author will record its life and the joy it brings to his life.
