Features: The flourishing of Qing Dynasty Ci poetry is renowned as a renaissance, marked by the vast number of its authors, the richness of its schools, as well as its achievements in compiling and organizing Ci anthologies and exploring and promoting the study of Ci. These accomplishments have long been recognized by the world. The author's discussions on the Ci of renowned Tang and Song Dynasty masters are already well-known; the exploration of Qing Dynasty Ci extends this legacy. The texts included in this selection of Qing Ci lectures were compiled from recordings of the author's classroom teachings. The book features eight essays by the author on the study of Qing Ci, most of which originate from lecture notes prepared over the years during her academic engagements at various universities. These eight articles primarily include "On the Renaissance of Qing Ci from the Perspective of the Transformation of Ci Style in Yunjian School," "On the Aesthetic Characteristics of Zhu Zun's Love Ci from the Historical Development of Erotic Ci," "On the Two Approaches to Ci Interpretation by Zhang Huizhen and Wang Guowei from a New Perspective," and "Reflections on Traditional Ci Studies and Wang Guowei's Ci Theory under the Lens of Western Theories." To a certain extent, these works reflect the author's unique insights into Qing Ci.
