Post-mountain poem annotations supplemented annotations (volume 1 and 2)

Author: (Song) Chen Shidao
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 1999-11-01
Features: First, the article "The Transmission of Chen Houshan's Collection of Poems" was drafted. Then, all prefaces and postfaces of the "Houshan Collection" from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties were compiled. Based on the available versions of Houshan's poems, a collation was made. Regarding the annotations themselves, in addition to including the few additions by Mr. Mao, insights from Mr. Chen Zhang and Mr. Zheng Xueyun were also included with annotations. Furthermore, errors in the original printing by Commercial Press were corrected, and revisions were made to a few quoted passages in the annotations. As for the overall style and content of the annotations, more thorough verification and changes are still not possible. I believe there are still areas that can be corrected, and these require the readers' corrections and further refinement. (1) Regarding the title of this poem, the earliest Song Sichuan large-character edition is titled "Chasing and Crying," while all other editions are titled "Sorrowful Crying."
