Features: To adapt to the new development needs of "governing the country according to law" and "administering according to law," we have revised the Applied Writing Course for the fifth time. This revision has a relatively large "surgical" scope, mainly manifested in the following aspects:
1. The classification of applied writing has been adjusted from the original four major categories and five subcategories to one major category called "Chapters," with several chapters under each chapter.
2. The "official documents" introduced in the original course are now referred to as "legal official documents," abbreviated as "official documents." These include:
- Party documents stipulated by the Regulations on the Handling of Party Documents,
- Government documents stipulated by the Measures for the Handling of Government Documents,
- People's Congress documents stipulated by the Measures for the Handling of People's Congress Documents,
- Military documents stipulated by the Regulations on the Handling of Military Documents,
- Court documents stipulated by the Measures for the Handling of Court Documents.
3. Considering that beginners in applied writing may lack exposure to society and are unfamiliar with the "block-bar relationship" formed by national agencies and their functions, they often find themselves at a loss when learning regulations and facing simulated official tasks.
4. Revised concurrently with the Teaching Reference.
5. The revised Applied Writing Course has made some adjustments in professional documents. The original three professional documents—bidding documents, tender documents, contracts, and commercial advertisements—have now been reduced to only contracts.
