Features: This book collects a large amount of linguistic materials. Taking advantage of the opportunity to study at the Institute of Linguistics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences this year, the author compiled them into this volume. The writing of this book follows the principle of faithfully describing unique linguistic phenomena in specific regions and applying linguistic theories to analyze and explain these phenomena, exploring their patterns. Based on this, the author's focus is not only on the local Chinese language but also on the influence of minority languages on Chinese, describing and comparing these influences from the aspects of phonetics, vocabulary, and grammar to reflect the impact and connections between languages in the region. This is an attempt by the author, and its successes and shortcomings are left for the readers to judge. Furthermore, attention is paid to the accuracy and reliability of the data. Most of the grammatical examples in the book are extracted from 16 hours of dialectal spoken language recordings, while the other part comes from the author's own collected and recorded local communication data. The phonetic records are marked according to actual sound changes, striving to accurately document the spoken language of Jishou. The summary of linguistic patterns emphasizes letting the facts speak and avoids subjective speculation.
