Features: Wang Miao Tian, also known as Wang Zhiliang, styled Lu Miao. Born on June 8, 1964, in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. Graduated from Wuxi Commercial School in 1984. Studied under Mr. Wang Mingming, Director of the Beijing Art Institute, in 1985. Enrolled in the advanced training class of the Beijing Art Institute in 1993. Graduated from the Fine Arts Diploma Program of the Beijing Coal Industry Cadre Management College in 1996. Admitted to the Graduate Program of the Chinese Painting Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2002. Currently a member of the China Artists Association.
In 1990, "Spring Slumber · Autumn Flute" won the bronze award in the "Beijing Asian Games Fan Art Competition." "Xiezhi Appreciating Geese" won the bronze award in the "Shandong Xiezhi Cup Calligraphy and Painting Competition." In 1991, "Jiangnan Fisherman's Song" won the silver award in the "Shaanxi International Modern Art Exhibition." In 1996, "Floral Shadows" participated in the "China-South Korea Artists Invitational Exhibition" in Seoul. Held the "Dream of Summer" solo exhibition in Beijing. In 1997, held the "Rhythm of the East" solo exhibition in Heidelberg, Germany.
In 1999, "Poetic Charm · Dream Traces" participated in the "Top 300 Chinese Painters Exhibition" organized by the China Artists Association. "Summer Charm" and "Lotus Fragrance" participated in the "Chinese Fan Art Exhibition" in Lithuania. "Remembrance of Jiangnan Lotus Song" participated in the "Chinese Painting and Photography Exhibition for the 1999 Macau Return" organized by the China Artists Association.
In 2001, "Dreaming of Jiangnan Melody" participated in the "Asia Cup National Fine Arts and Calligraphy Excellence Exhibition" organized by the China Artists Association. "Forest Spring High Scholar" won the silver award in the "21st Century Chinese Painting Australia Exhibition" organized by the China Artists Association.
In 2002, "Forest Spring Nurturing Virtue" participated in the "Welcome Olympic Games Chinese Painting Exhibition" organized by the China Artists Association. "Forest Spring Nurturing the Mind" participated in the "16th New Talent and New Work Exhibition" organized by the China Artists Association. "Dreaming of Water Town" won the gold award in the "Tongli — Protecting World Heritage International Chinese Painting Exhibition" organized by the China Artists Association.
