Features: This standard was revised based on the "Notice on Issuing the Plan for the Compilation of Construction Norms, Quota Standards, and Design Plans for Railway Engineering in 2001" (Tiedianjianshehuan [2001] 172) by the Ministry of Railways. It applies to the acceptance of construction quality for new and renovated standard-gauge railway tunnel projects for mixed operations of passenger and freight trains with a design running speed of 160 km/h or less. For other railway tunnel projects, as well as new technologies, processes, equipment, and materials not covered by this standard, the acceptance of construction quality should be separately formulated and supplemented.
