Features: Happiness is simple and plain, while the face of love is as changeable as the weather. A few young couples drift up and down in the river of emotions, and sometimes it is more confusing to determine their own emotional direction than to grasp someone else's love. However, after a few ups and downs, they face their inner selves, as if suddenly from a hangover, and discover that their originally dim lives are shining like gold coins in the sunlight. If the world of two people is a teacup, then Chen Mingliang and Wu Fang are the tea leaves at the bottom of the cup, and Lang Lang is the water used to steep the tea. The water determines the direction in which the tea leaves rotate, the way they intertwine, and the rhythm of their floating and sinking. Sometimes, fate is connected to a few tea leaves.
Chen Mingliang, who was dumped by his girlfriend, meets a rigid graduate student, Wu Fang, during an accidental blind date. Wu Fang is not an attractive woman, and to break the awkwardness of social interaction, she tells a story. This story becomes a path for Chen Mingliang to escape loneliness and boredom in front of him. As he explores this path, he also gradually gets closer to Wu Fang's inner world. While interacting with Wu Fang, he meets Lang Lang, a piano player in a bar. Lang Lang is a quintessential material girl, who, in addition to playing the piano, chats with men for payment. Wu Fang's confusing stories and Lang Lang's mysterious aura plunge Chen Mingliang into an irresistible situation. Both girls love green tea, and whenever Chen Mingliang looks at them, there is always a cup of emerald-green tea in his sight, with the tea leaves slowly unfurling in the water. Green tea is transparent, but the story is enigmatic.
