Features: Since its publication in 1986, this series of books has been well-received by a broad readership and has played a significant role in the review and preparation of adult college entrance examination candidates across the country. Over the past decade, with the development of adult higher education in China and the changing learning needs of readers, especially due to several revisions of the National Adult College Entrance Examination Review and Examination Syllabus, this series has undergone nine comprehensive revisions. Through continuous refinement, the overall quality of the series has been improved, with a more scientific and rational structure, making it a core textbook for adult college entrance examination candidates and enjoying a good reputation nationwide.
The newly revised and published 10th edition, in accordance with the requirements of the newly revised and issued National Adult College Entrance Examination Review and Examination Syllabus (High School Entrance to Undergraduate and Junior College), features the following:
1. Closely aligned with the syllabus, the content is detailed, accurate, and highlights key points. It emphasizes the review of fundamental knowledge and the training of abilities, with question types and exercises closely reflecting the actual exam, demonstrating strong practicality and targeting.
2. The selection and arrangement of content are more suitable for adult learning characteristics, focusing on incorporating new knowledge and achievements, giving the series a stronger sense of timeliness.
3. The design of question types and narrative style, among other aspects, emphasizes the shift from knowledge-based learning to ability-based learning. While emphasizing the training of basic subject skills, it also focuses on improving candidates' comprehensive knowledge application and exam-taking abilities, with a more refined system structure tailored to adult learning.
4. While covering the knowledge points of the new syllabus, the word count has been appropriately reduced to make the series more concise and practical.
In line with the requirements of the new syllabus, this revision of Mathematics with Problem Solving Guide (Arts, Economics, and Finance) primarily removes the vector parameter equation of a line, discrete random variables and their mathematical expectation, and the expected value of the expected value of a discrete random variable distribution. Additionally, some content has been adjusted and modified appropriately.
