To support and promote the implementation of the national unified examination system for inspector qualifications, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine's Customs Department published the "Training Textbook for Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Inspectors" in 2005, which served as the designated textbook for the national unified examination for inspector qualifications. In response to the needs of a large number of candidates, the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association published the "Training Textbook Companion" (2005 Edition) in 2005, with relevant experts summarizing key and difficult points from the "Training Textbook for Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Inspectors" in the form of Q&A or short-answer questions. The book mainly includes content such as "Inspection Knowledge Q&A," "Related English Vocabulary (Chinese-English )," and "Inspection and Quarantine Knowledge Q&A." During the compilation and review process, the book received support from leaders of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Customs Department. The Shanghai and Henan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureaus invested significant effort, and comrades such as Wang Liping, Wang Wei, and Yan Zhenfen participated in the writing of this book. We extend our gratitude to them for their enthusiasm and to all colleagues who supported this book. Editors October 2005
