Do not use first-morning urine. The best time to collect urine is between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Immerse the end of the test strip with the arrow mark into the urine for about three seconds, then remove and place it flat (see the figure in the test strip instructions). Observe the results after 10 minutes, with the result being valid within 30 minutes of reading. Each test strip has detailed usage instructions on the back.
