Features: Have we arrived? For Nick, women are just accessories in the plot; once he wins them over, he considers his job done, without needing to worry about nurturing any emotions. Now, his new target is single mother Susanna. But no matter how hard Nick tries, he can't break down the defenses in her heart. As the New Year approaches, Nick notices that Susanna shows no joy for the holiday on her face, only growing sorrow. It turns out that Susanna's two children are in New York, but because of work, she must stay in Vancouver over the New Year holiday, enduring the pain of being apart. Nick sees this as the perfect opportunity to shower her with affection and volunteers to drive her two children—11-year-old Lindsay and 7-year-old Kevin—to Vancouver to spend the New Year with her. But what Nick didn't expect is that Susanna's children are not only mischievous but also a bit obsessive, hating all the men who date their mother. They decide to do everything in their power on the way to Vancouver to stop Nick from hitting on their mother.
Review: Despite the film's use of slang, profanity, and street culture symbols, its comedic moments carry a universal comedic appeal. Director Brian Levant is a master at family comedies, and in this film, he handles multiple comedic genres with ease, bringing the film close to peak performance. As for actor Asa Cooper's outstanding performance, it's no surprise, given that his achievements in comedies far surpass those in action films.
