It includes two hundred and twenty articles from the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to the late Ming Dynasty, providing a general overview of the development of ancient Chinese prose. Second, the compilers lack academic biases, and the selected works are not based on personal preferences, so we can see various ancient texts with diverse content and styles. The selected works are mostly famous masterpieces, with beautiful and elegant language, easy to understand, and truly breathtaking.
