They met in Seoul in 1882 and had a 34-year-long poetic exchange until Jin Tae-yong settled in Nantong for 22 years in 1905. This paper explores certain historical characteristics of Sino-Korean cultural exchange during the late Qing and early Republican periods through this case study.
