Features: At an appliance exhibition, a company manager named Du Guanjun pleads with the director of a television factory, Ni Chunchun, to sell him color TVs, but is flatly refused by the arrogant Ni director. In contrast, Ni warmly welcomes Liang Guang from Feipeng Company, and Du suspects foul play. On one hand, he spends a fortune buying lottery tickets and gives them to Ni's wife, Lu Xiuying, while on the other hand, he monitors Liang's movements. Dancer Shen Yuexia meets Liang in secret, coincidentally running into her former lover. She takes a bottle of wine from Liang's room and drinks with her ex, only to find that both are poisoned to death. All of this happens under Du's surveillance, who uses it to blackmail Liang into giving him 1,000 color TVs. However, the blackmail fails, and Liang's men beat him badly. Enraged, Du calls the police anonymously. The police solve a theft case, and the thief admits that the stolen goods were from Ni Chunchun's home. When the detectives question Ni, he denies everything, which arouses the police's suspicion. Liang continues to extort Ni, making Ni despise him. It turns out that Liang was once Ni's driver. Once, Ni's son violently assaulted a girl and accidentally killed her. Liang helped Ni's son dump the girl's body into the sea, turning it into an unsolved case. From then on, Liang held onto this leverage. To get rid of Liang, Ni sent him a bottle of poisoned wine, but it ended up killing Shen Yuexia and her lover. To eliminate Liang, Ni also sent his mistress, Su Chunni, to seduce him. When Liang and Su Chunni were fooling around at a seaside villa, Ni, dressed in black, sneaked into the villa and killed Liang. Witnessing all this, Du seized the opportunity to demand the money for the lottery tickets back from Ni's wife, who, in a fit of rage, committed suicide. Ni Chunchun then killed Du. Su Chunni was about to leave the country when the detectives arrested her at the airport, and they were finally brought to justice.
