This book temporarily sets aside Barthes' grand theory and does not present too many reading obstacles; it reads smoothly. Kundera's works make readers firmly believe that humanity will definitely survive, and the world will definitely survive. Everything people wholeheartedly believe in, seek, and desire in this world will regain its human face. Men will no longer turn to me forever / Happiness without encounters and desires Jean marc: All women measure the degree of their aging based on the interest or disinterest men show in their bodies. It is submerged among thousands of bodies until one day a desire-filled gaze falls upon it, pulling it out of the chaos of the crowd; then, the gaze increasingly ignites the body, making it burn like a torch in the world from then on; this is a period of glory and splendor, but soon, the gaze begins to fade, and the flame gradually dims until one day, the body becomes translucent, then transparent, then invisible, like a floating tiny void wandering through the streets and alleys. From the earliest invisibility to the second invisibility, the phrase "Men no longer turn to me" is a flashing red signal, indicating that the body is gradually dying out.
