Although the book covers many aspects of the logic discipline, such as widespread logical analysis, logical methods, deductive reasoning, pragmatic reasoning, abductive reasoning, and so on, the theoretical and academic nature of this book does not lie in systematically, rigorously, concentratively, or coldly explaining fixed principles of logic. Instead, it primarily emphasizes, broadly, flexibly, and gently showcasing logical practice—the vivid charm of logic in solving real-world problems.
The campus in the book is vibrant, the thinking is vibrant, and the logic is vibrant. This is because there are some logic teachers and logic practitioners who cannot quite tell whether logic has merged into their lives or their lives have merged into logic. Their diligent efforts on campus have ensured that the tree of logic remains evergreen! The campus in the book is merely a microcosm of the real campus.
