You Are April in the World – A Ode to Love by Lin Huiyin
I say you are April in the world; your laughter brightens the four winds; graceful, you dance in the radiance of spring. You are the mist of early April in the sky, the soft breeze of dusk, stars twinkling unintentionally, and light rain sprinkling before the flowers. So light, so elegant, you are, fresh and bright. You wear the crown of a hundred flowers; you are innocent, solemn, and the moon that shines nightly. After the snow melts, that pale yellow, you resemble; the fresh green of newly bloomed buds, you are; tender joy, water glistening, you embody in dreams, the white lotus of anticipation. You are the blossoming of flowers tree by tree, the chirping of swallows in the eaves—You are love, warmth, hope, you are April in the world! P26
