Publish Date: 2006-06-01
Features: This book first introduces the basic theories and characteristics of financial regulation. Based on a review of the development history of financial regulation, it systematically summarizes the theories of financial regulation. It then conducts a horizontal comparison of various financial regulation models and summarizes their respective advantages and disadvantages. Subsequently, it employs the partial equilibrium analysis method to conduct normative research on financial regulation. Finally, combining the characteristics of China's transition economy, dual economy, and open economy, it analyzes the regulatory situation in sectors such as banking and securities in China and explores the issue of reconstructing the microfoundations of China's financial regulation. The innovations of this book are twofold: (1) It establishes the financial regulation function and the supply-demand and cost-benefit functions of financial regulation; (2) It studies financial regulation from both macro and institutional perspectives, differing from foreign research that focuses on empirical studies, as well as domestic discussions that are limited to the operational level of financial supervision.
