Features: Writing a stroke, originally focused solely on the form of characters, with the main purpose and duty being cultural and intellectual exchange. Later, its artistic value gradually revealed its role, and a "discipline" of calligraphy, which took the writing of Chinese characters as both an artistic form and theory, developed along with the progress of the times. We deeply realize that, divorced from the support of culture, the works of calligraphy, both in content and form, would be left as lifeless bodies. Calligraphy can only radiate vitality and possibly shine with artistic brilliance in history when it is imbued with vigorous cultural connotations and substantial, magnificent cultural context. Therefore, if calligraphy as a discipline is only understood in terms of its mere artistic connotations, it may not be able to meet the demands of cultural education and greatly diminish its qualification as a "discipline." For this reason, this tutorial series specially includes a separate course titled "Calligraphy Culture" to demonstrate sufficient emphasis on the connotations of calligraphy culture and to enable this discipline to achieve the results it is capable of.
