Features: This book is the teaching supplement for the textbook "Investment and Financing Studies." "Investment and Financing Studies" is a specialized textbook for MBA and EMBA students in economics and management. Considering the broad scope of the textbook content, which covers both financing and investment, as well as both domestic and international investment and financing, and involves theoretical depth, a teaching casebook and exercise set were compiled as auxiliary teaching tools to facilitate instructors' teaching and students' more systematic and convenient use of the textbook. This enables them to master the knowledge content more flexibly and effectively.
To help instructors and students better grasp the teaching focus and key points of each chapter, this teaching supplement lists the teaching outlines for each chapter, clearly indicating the teaching objectives, key teaching content, key points to understand and master (both theoretical and applied), and recommended reference materials.
To help students better master the key content of each chapter, we have provided a "question bank" with thought-provoking questions for each chapter, along with reference answers or analytical hints.
Due to the limited of the textbook, key points requiring in-depth discussion or detailed elaboration are compiled in this teaching supplement in the form of "special topics," totaling more than 30 topics. These topics are not long but are self-contained, resembling short essays. They will play a positive role in deepening students' understanding of key textbook content and improving their theoretical literacy. These topics can either be assigned for self-study or selected by instructors for lecture.
Investment and financing studies is a course that emphasizes both theory and practice. To enhance students' ability to flexibly apply theory and solve practical problems, this book has also collected more than 30 cases, compiled into a "case collection." These cases are examples of well-known enterprises or regional investment development and are highly typical, providing assistance to instructors in enriching teaching content and students in classroom discussions.
For instructors to better plan their teaching schedules, this book also lists a teaching timetable in the appendix, offering two options: Plan A (54 class hours, 3 hours/week × 18 weeks); Plan B (36 class hours, 2 hours/week × 18 weeks), to meet the teaching arrangement requirements of different universities. Both plans include 5 hours of classroom discussion. It should be noted that this timetable is based on some experience accumulated from long-term teaching practice and is for reference only for instructors. Instructors may adjust or rearrange it according to the specific conditions of their institutions.
