New Fashion Photography Techniques Explained

Author: Hu Gangfeng, Xiao Su, Gu Wei / Country: Mainland China
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-06-01
Features: This is the 22nd photographic knowledge book co-authored and published by the authors. Most of the previously published books focused on introductory knowledge and specific topics, aiming to provide readers with a comprehensive and systematic introduction to fundamental and essential knowledge and skills through one book per topic. However, this book is designed with the principles of practicality and novelty, introducing new and uncommon creative methods from various aspects or specific points, blending traditional and modern approaches. Each chapter can stand independently but is interconnected, allowing readers to either browse the entire book or quickly refer to relevant sections when encountering specific issues or having certain creative intentions. The new creative techniques introduced in the book are mostly learned from books and fellow photographers, and many have been personally experimented with. Some succeeded, while others failed. The successful methods are introduced, and failures are noted for caution. Some techniques are the result of our unconventional experiments and are not yet fully mature, awaiting further refinement and improvement by fellow photographers in practice. The authors merely serve as a catalyst to inspire ideas. It should also be noted that some chapters in the book draw inspiration from outstanding sections of domestic and international books, and some chapters are adapted from our previously published works, with the goal of enabling readers to learn more new shooting techniques from this book.
