Features: Working diligently is always the right thing to do. If you're not familiar with your new boss, there are fewer chances of being trusted by him. In such cases, the best approach is to work diligently no matter who the supervisor is. Strive to showcase your work charisma. You should know that when a new boss takes over, his first priority is to identify a few reliable people. Once you understand his temperament, you can gradually get closer to him, which will also provide you with opportunities to hone your skills—this will greatly benefit your career.
Generally speaking, someone who can be promoted to a supervisory position must possess certain management skills and a broad-minded attitude. Perhaps you had some disagreements with him in the past, but it didn't go deeper into emotions. As a boss, he won't hold any grudges against you or look at you differently. However, if he really makes things difficult for you on purpose, you can't just sit back and take it—you must take countermeasures. As the saying goes, "Under the eaves of a house, one must bow one's head," so if you want to keep your job, the best thing to do is to clarify any misunderstandings with your boss and ask him not to deliberately give you a hard time. If he refuses and continues as usual, then there's a problem with his character, and you won't have a good time under his leadership. You can explain everything to the owner and request a transfer to another department—expressing your request tactfully. Generally, open-minded owners will approve such requests. Of course, you could also complain to the owner, saying your boss is acting out of personal vendettas. However, this already puts you at risk of losing your job, because if your complaint fails, you'll have no standing in the company. Therefore, this approach is highly inadvisable, and most owners, who prioritize the bigger picture, won't support your decision.
If applying for a transfer doesn't get the owner's approval, your only choice is to leave. In fact, it's best to leave with a sense of calm, leaving the company with a good impression. Since this boss has such a strong sense of revenge and loves holding grudges, he will likely offend other colleagues as well. With little support from others, he won't have a successful career in the company. One day, he will leave too. If you have nowhere to go or wish to return later, the owner and colleagues will understand your reasons for leaving and will surely welcome you back, praising your patience and perseverance. You might even earn the owner's appreciation, which could open up a whole new world for you. P9-10
