Features: According to Benjamin, Saturn is a "planet of and procrastination," and Santag thus uses the term "Saturnine temperament" to describe the spiritual disposition of thinkers like Benjamin. In addition to Benjamin, this collection delves into the works of other thinkers and artists whom Santag regards as her role models and peers, such as Artaud, Barthes, and Canetti. It vividly portrays their spiritual portraits, and Santag's critiques of others thus also become a form of spiritual autobiography for herself.
