(3) Skipping Breakfast Many women adopt the "starvation diet" method, attempting to lose weight by eating little or no breakfast. However, this often backfires and can even worsen the situation. Skipping breakfast increases the sense of hunger at lunchtime, which in turn promotes food absorption. A lavish lunch is quickly digested and converted into fat, leading to obesity over time.
(4) Improper Dinner Habits Due to time constraints, many people tend to eat simple breakfasts and lunches but have dinners with chicken, fish, meat, eggs, and vegetables when they gather with family in the evening. This arrangement is not scientifically sound. After digestion, some of the food enters the bloodstream as blood lipids. In the evening, insulin levels rise to their daily peak, converting blood sugar into fat that accumulates on blood vessel walls and abdominal walls. Over time, this leads to obesity. Therefore, to combat obesity, lifestyle changes must be made. Eating less for dinner, taking a walk afterward, and increasing physical activity can help prevent obesity.
(5) Excessive Sugar Intake Sugar is not only easily absorbed but also enhances the activity of enzymes that promote fat production and stimulates the secretion of insulin, which encourages fat storage. Regular consumption of sweet foods, high-fat foods, starchy foods, sugary drinks, and insufficient vegetable intake can lead to weight gain.
(6) Selective Eating Selective eating can result in an imbalance in nutrient intake, causing certain deficiencies. It is known that a lack of Vitamin B can lead to obesity. Vitamin B helps convert fat into energy and participates in fat metabolism, primarily through B1, B2, and B6. These vitamins are mainly found in brown rice, wheat bran, and many fresh fruits and vegetables.
(7) Insufficient Exercise Exercise helps burn fat. In daily life, with the advancement of transportation, mechanization of work, and reduced household chores, opportunities for energy expenditure have decreased. Meanwhile, energy intake remains unchanged, leading to obesity. P11-12
