Patient's question:
Over a yearNo hospital for treatment
Doctor's answer:
Itching of the vulva is often caused by the excessive abnormal vaginal discharge from trichomoniasis or fungal infections-induced vaginitis, which irritates the vulva, leading to itching. If there is a disinfectant rinse of the vulva or vagina, or certain medications are placed inside the vagina (such as sulfonamides, furacilin, strongly alkaline soaps, or potassium permanganate solution), it may cause allergic reactions or dermatitis of the vulvar skin, also leading to vulvar itching.
