Features: This book collects some cutting-edge research achievements in hydraulics by Professor Zhao Wenqian, including the application of turbulence models under complex conditions in areas such as thermal pollution and sediment-laden water, as well as experimental measurement techniques and environmental hydraulics research on petroleum pollution under complex conditions. It holds significant reference value for researchers in environmental hydraulics. The 42 articles collected here reflect some of the achievements over the years in teaching and scientific research. A considerable portion of these results was jointly researched by myself, my graduate students, and young scholars with whom I worked. In today's era, the pace of technological advancement is accelerating, and the scientific problems we face are becoming increasingly challenging. In contrast, individual efforts seem insignificant. In my understanding, the fundamental responsibility of a teacher lies in nurturing people and paving the way for the younger generation, which is more important than directly producing research results. If we can inspire young researchers in a particular field, we would be very satisfied.
