Features: Professor Chen Mengjia (1991—1996) was a renowned modern Chinese poet, paleographer, and archaeologist from Shangyu, Zhejiang. After graduating from Central University in 1932, he taught at Qingdao University, Yanjing University, and Southwest Associated University in Kunming. From 1944 to 1947, he taught Chinese paleography at the University of Chicago and collected materials on bronze artifacts from the Zhou Dynasty scattered in Europe and America. Upon returning to China, he became a professor at Tsinghua University and later a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1952. This book collects Professor Chen Mengjia's works, including monographs such as A Summary of Oracle Bone Inscriptions from Yin Ruins, A Study of the Western Zhou Dynasty, Annals of the Six States, A Contemporary Interpretation of the Tao Te Ching, and An Outline of Chinese Bibliography, as well as the new poetry collection Chen Mengjia's Poetry Collection. Additionally, it compiles his published and unpublished articles, organizing them into Chen Mengjia's Collected Essays (prose collection) and A Collection of Chen Mengjia's Academic Papers.
