Features: With the development of the tourism industry, the number of overseas tourists visiting Yunnan has increased rapidly. In 2005, Yunnan will receive over 1.3 million overseas tourists, a tenfold increase from the early 1990s of the 20th century. By 2010, Yunnan is expected to welcome 3 million overseas visitors. This book is written by the School of Foreign Languages at Yunnan Normal University, incorporating the author's many years of teaching experience and research insights. The book is divided into six parts in both Chinese and English, briefly introducing the outstanding characteristics of Yunnan's provincial conditions, natural landscapes, ethnic cultures, tourist attractions, famous local products, and local cuisine, as well as tourism accessibility and reception conditions. It focuses on introducing the main premium tourism routes in Yunnan, and the concise appendices further enhance the book's knowledge content.
