Features: The National Folk Musical Instrument Performance Examination Activity is an important initiative for the public, organized by the Chinese Folk Music and Instrument Association and approved by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China. Its purpose is to promote the excellent national culture of our country, facilitate the popularization, development, and prosperity of Chinese folk orchestral art, inspire young people's enthusiasm for learning to play Chinese folk musical instruments, and enhance their musical and cultural literacy, fostering a love for the national culture of our motherland. To better fulfill this sacred mission and facilitate the deeper and broader implementation of this activity across the country, we have organized experts from various disciplines to compile examination collections for over ten types of instruments, including the huqin, pipa, and guzheng. The newly compiled Jinghu Examination Collection consists of nine levels, with levels 1 to 3 being for beginners, levels 4 to 6 for intermediate players, and levels 7 to 9 for advanced players. The jinghu is the main accompanying instrument in Peking Opera and holds a very important position in its music. It has a bright, high-pitched, and passionate tone, with a unique and irreplaceable stylistic charm. The jinghu is a key factor in shaping the distinctive musical style of Peking Opera. As the lead instrument, it not only dynamically enriches the artistic expression and emotional impact of the singing but also complements the performance, enhancing the storyline and creating a vibrant stage atmosphere.
