Features: Green, green, the beautiful color. This is a day in March afternoon. I am strolling in the clear suburbs. The spring breeze brings a series of fragrances of earth and the fresh buds of oak trees. Cuckoos and larks chirp joyfully as they fly over the blue sky, while white clouds shine brilliantly like transparent tinfoil. At my feet are patches of golden rapeseed flowers, their dazzling golden light as if spreading across the entire earth. Some unnamed wildflowers and grasses are also swaying freely, like joyful dancing children. This spring nature is like a beautiful song, filled with soft melodies. At this moment, a group of primary school students, accompanied by their teacher, sing their way over from the other side of the road. They carry bright team flags, some holding water buckets, and others carrying shovels. The last few boys are carrying bundles of young saplings. No doubt, they are children who have come to the suburbs to plant trees. They appear free and lively, like little angels who have come to the field to welcome and adorn the spring. They will leave behind patches of green young forests on the earth for us. In fact, just seeing them stand together and laugh already makes me feel that they are a patch of green, growing young forest. They will grow tomorrow, with their tree-like arms, holding up the future sun of this world! At this moment, I suddenly think of a lovely little bird. In distant America, there is a small bird called "Cardinalis." Every spring, they fly in groups to the wilds to gather some tender green sweet willow branches, then carry them in their mouths and fly to an open grassland to "dine." They have a good habit when eating: first, they peck a small hole in the ground with their beaks, insert the willow branches, and then begin to savor the tender buds. The bare willow branches left behind quickly take root under the spring sunshine and rain, soon growing into a patch of green young willow forests. The local people gave this bird a beautiful title, calling it "Tree-planting Bird." So, can we also call this group of children who adorn the spring on the field "Cardinalis"—our "Tree-planting Birds"? At the same time, I think that in our world today, we need so many flowers, trees, and plants! We need green so much! Green, green, is the most beautiful color in this world. We should let the earth we rely on be filled with more shade, bird songs, and fragrances. If every one of us can plant a small tree or protect a green plant in every new spring, then we will discover how beautiful our world is! Every day, we will live as if beside the green, fresh mother nature, whether we are city dwellers or villagers. Every day, we will hear the soft music of nature, enjoy its enchanting fragrance, and feel the tender love of her mother's fingers. May all pollution disappear from our space, and may all things thrive and love each other, like living in a harmonious family. Then, for such a beautiful wish, let us all love this spring and our nature as these little angels who adorn the spring do, just like the little birds do! Let us cherish every green plant around us with our true hearts! Green, green, will always be the most beautiful color in this world. P4-5
