Features: Tangential micromotion, radial micromotion, rolling micromotion, and torsional micromotion are four basic micromotion operation modes. However, to date, the vast majority of research has focused on tangential micromotion, with no reports yet on the study of composite micromotion involving two basic modes. Conducting research on radial and composite micromotion modes holds broad engineering application prospects in many fields such as railways, automobiles, aviation, aerospace, nuclear reactors, telecommunications, power systems, and human implantable devices. This not only carries significant scientific value in exploring the unknown but also provides important guidance for combating industrial micromotion-induced damage. The main contributions and conclusions of this thesis are as follows:
(1) Developed a novel radial micromotion test apparatus, accurately simulating radial micromotion and laying an experimental foundation for radial micromotion research.
(2) Conducted a systematic study on the operational and damage mechanisms of radial micromotion.
(3) Successfully achieved the composite of tangential and radial micromotion for the first time.
(4) Systematically studied the operational and damage mechanisms of composite micromotion.
(5) Investigated the variation patterns of damage mechanisms in tangential, radial, and composite micromotion as the relative tilt angle of the contact pair changes. This book successfully developed a novel radial micromotion test apparatus by modifying the fixture system and control program of the high-precision tangential micromotion test bench.
