Features: During the writing process, the author exchanged dozens of letters with Mr. Lang. She always answered every question, and in the period close to completion, she faxed nearly every other day. Initially, the book was titled A Master of Art and Virtue: Lang Yuxiu, the renowned opera singer. Later, when Jiabing's brother reviewed it, he said that nowadays, some singers perform a song on stage and are quickly hailed by the media as "renowned opera singers." Given Lang Yuxiu Professor's profound knowledge, his dual education background, and his lifelong dedication to the vocal arts, the title "master" was well-deserved. At his suggestion, the author changed the title to Lang Yuxiu: The Master of Vocal Arts. After the initial draft was completed, the author sent it to the authoritative music critic Mr. Li Ling in Beijing, asking him to write a preface. Mr. Li responded promptly with the preface. In it, he mentioned that the book was a "brief record," and upon suggestion, the author indeed felt it was too concise to fully capture the essence of Mr. Lang. Therefore, the author expanded the text by tens of thousands of words. Additionally, Mr. Li mentioned that he was suffering from cerebral hemorrhage and was already 89 years old, which greatly troubled the author.
