Features: The "An" series consists of seven volumes, with the story revolving around the MacKenzie family of Scotland. It spans from the harsh Nordic North in the 9th century to the Crusades of the 12th century, and even to the future in 2020, telling a magnificent epic of light versus darkness from eternity to eternity. The author's art team has not only created numerous exquisite illustrations, maps, and coats of arms for each volume, creating a unique blend of history and mythology in a fantastical tone, but to make this vast work even more perfect, the author has specially hired eight historians as consultants. Every paragraph in the book is historically grounded, and there is also a reference bibliography of thirteen pages, demonstrating the author's meticulous effort. In addition to the novels, they have also collaborated to launch a series of reference books on related history, providing background knowledge on various themes mentioned in the book in an easy-to-understand way. It is expected that each volume of the novel will be accompanied by four historical books, and so far, four books such as "Vikings," "King Arthur," "Anglo-Saxons," and "Medieval Monks" have been released. In 2003, the first volume, "The Legend Begins," was first launched in Brazil, immediately capturing the market with astonishing momentum and dominating the bestseller list for a full twenty-five weeks, and was listed among the top ten bestsellers of the year! In 2004, it became the most anticipated highlight of the world's largest Frankfurter Buchmesse. Not only did the world's largest Spanish-language publisher, Planeta Editorial, purchase the entire series rights for a staggering price, but the rights have now been sold in twenty-two countries. Derived products include soundtracks, paper strategy games, role-playing games, game cards, movable dolls, puzzles, and various stationery items. In the future, it is planned to adapt it into movies, comics, computer games, and interactive educational CDs, etc. It is clear that in the coming years, readers around the world will find it impossible to be excluded from the "An fever"!
