This book tells the story of three generations of the Duan and Sui families, entangled in love and hatred around a rare jade piece, the "Phoenix Reborn." The female protagonist, Duan Shengnan, played by Huang Yi, risks everything to steal jade from Myanmar to save her jade shop and her father in prison, embarking on a legendary journey. In the 1940s, Duan Shengnan, to save her struggling jade shop and her father in prison, daringly travels to Myanmar in search of fine jade. Along the way, she encounters danger and is saved by Xiang Suoyuan, who had escaped from Shanghai. The two develop feelings for each other in the midst of the crisis. However, Xiang Suoyuan's daughter, also his fiancée, Xiaotong, arrives in Yunnan. The plane flies through the clouds, with the clouds around it changing. Inside the cabin, an elderly lady with a kind face lies in a spacious first-class seat, her eyes slightly closed. Her face, already in her seventies or eighties, seems to tell the other passengers about the vicissitudes of time and experience. Time, like a jade-cutting knife, has carved deep grooves on her face. Yet, through these grooves, one can vaguely see that she must have been a stunningly beautiful woman in her youth. Even though time has been so harsh, it hasn't erased her natural beauty. The elderly lady seems to have just woken from a sweet dream, and the flight attendant quickly approaches her. With a humble smile, the flight attendant lightly opens her lips: "Madam Duan, we're about to land. Would you like something to drink?" Behind the flight attendant's professional smile, there's more than just familiarity and respect for Madam Duan. Her background must be quite extraordinary to earn such familiarity from the flight attendants of British Airways. Through the airplane window, Madam Duan sees the clouds still floating below. She sits up straighter and nods slightly, "Alright, give me a cup of hot tea." "Iron (Tieguanyin)? Is that okay?" Madam Duan nods again, waving slightly, a hint of fatigue in her gesture, as the flight attendantes away. The hot tea arrives in no time, but the elderly lady seems to lose interest in drinking it, lost in her thoughts. Seeing this, the flight attendant doesn't say anything more and quietly moves to the side. The elderly lady's face begins to show changes in emotion, as if a bit nervous and yet also wistful. For a moment, the flight attendant seems to hear the elderly lady mutter to herself, "After all these years, how could I forget him?" The plane finally lands smoothly on the tarmac, and Madam Duan steps off, getting into a black Mercedes van. The Mercedes roars away, leaving a faint white trail of exhaust behind. On the table, a small phone rings, vibrating and dancing on the surface. Teresa (impatiently) puts down her mouse, stops typing love messages to her online lover, and mutters, "Why didn't it ring earlier or later? It had to ring when she was in the bathroom." Despite her strong frustration in her voice and expression, her hand still reaches for the phone on the other side of the table. "Hey, Miss Wuxian, your phone's dancing. Are you coming out to answer it now, or should I call you back later?" The bathroom door opens a crack, accompanied by the sound of dripping water, and a clear female voicees out from under the door, "What did you say?" "Your grandmother just called!" The bathroom door opens fully, and a young girl in a bathrobe steps out. Even in a simple white bathrobe, her beauty is hard to hide. Her wet hair and cheeks flushed from the hot steam add to her charm and allure. The girl hops out, tilting her head and repeatedly slapping her right ear with her right hand.
